Kai Lenny Supports Paddle
Surfing prodigy Kai Lenny is coming to the UK next week; 15th and 16thJune. At just 17 years old, Kai is a world-class surfer and he’s making the journey from Hawaii to the UK to see you!
Making a big name for himself in the surfing, windsurfing and kite boarding world, Kai spends every minute possible on the water; at only 17 years old it’s pretty impressive just how big and how well he rides.
If you’re into surfing and want to see one of the greatest surfers, now’s your chance. Kai’s first stop in the UK will be in Weymouth/Portland on Tuesday 15th June, Windtek and Second Wind Surf Shops, where he is looking forward to meeting some hardcore British surfers. He will be there from 11am until 3pm for a signing session and interviews, so make sure you don’t miss out.
On Tuesday evening he continues his journey down to Watergate Bay in Newquay to visit Ben Skinner www.skindogsurfboards.co.uk, and will be joined by Ollie Adams- British Surfing Champion. Kai will arrive in the area on the evening of the 15th to hang out with the surfing greats and of course the locals before ripping up the surf on Wednesday; with all you youngsters out there who want to show him what you’ve got.
To catch a glimpse of the surfing star in action and hop in the water to get some top tips, head down to Skindog’s Surf School www.skindogsurfschool.co.uk. Kai and his crew will be staying at Hendra Holiday Park who have kindly provided the accommodation and will be looked after by Matt Way, Hendra’s Manager and farther to Joe Way.
Matt Way said; “This is a great opportunity to showcase Newquay and Hendra’s 5 star accommodation as well as explain about the Joe Way paddle for life event which the guys helped promote at last year’s Oxbow longboard event in Japan.”
