The Paddle for Life started after lifeguards from Fistral Beach held a Joe Way memorial paddle to raise money for charity in 2008.  Joe is the inspirational little boy who touched people's lives around the country and beyond.

Our aim is to raise awareness of Joe’s story and inspire people to raise money for their chosen charity.

2020 Paddle For Life

The date of the 2020 Newquay Paddle for Life is Thursday 18th June...  See you there...

We are back "Joe Way Paddle for Life 2025"

Written by Matt Way on .

After Covid stopped our last event in 2020, we have taken a break and felt that it was maybe time to call it a day after 12 years of celebrating Joe's life and helping others with over £180k raised for over 20 different charities.

However with the hardship of Covid, current global struggles and the cost of living crisis you have to ask the question, is this not the time to enjoy community events, raise money and bring people together to take a moment to appreciate what they have, one boys smile for us always resets the hardship.

The date is set and we are calling for volunteers and business support once again, our mantra is all donations go to good causes as everyone give their time, support and equipment for FREE - to join the 2025 team please use the contact page.
